Man I can not even remember the last time i posted.

I am a college kid now. Whoopie!

Band is fun, I get blacker every time I go.

I am getting some shoulders from it though, which a plus.



Classes are alot different from high school,

One, I can skip and not worry about writing notes and such.

Two, it is very dependent on how much effort you put in.



High school i could literally do just the minimum and get by with a B.



Now i have to study cause the professor says we did nto cover the rest of the chapter that is on the test.



That and the fact i have to come up with 3 grand a semester,


Fuck that, go public edumacation.

Ever think of who would come to your funeral.

Well i was severely disappointed today.

I thought i was going to receive the Economic Stimulant check, but i am not eligible.

I am 18 i did make more than $5,000 last year,

but my mom claimed me on her taxes, so I am a dependent.

So goodbye extra $550.


I was going to get an Ipod touch!

Well I defiantly think I am going to leave Blue Coast.

Most likely after spring break.


Where will i go?   Somewhere that i can get $8 an hour or more.


I mean I really like the atmosphere that is generated there, but ive been there a year havent been promoted.


If I wanted to, I could get an assistant manager position.

But we are about to get 2 more managers, so i wouldnt be needed that much and I can hardly stand Tanya as it is.


Any ideas of where to look for a job?

Im thinking waitering, but anything is cool with me right now.

Well picking a college is hard enough,



I got $1000 for the fall semester to Memphis.

So thats cool, but i have to find a way to pay for the spring semester.


I still have to try out for UTC, but thats in March, and they want this contract in Feb.


And if I go to Memphis i would live at my dads apartment, so no dorm room.


Which makes me think, should i go away for college?

As I thought about it today,  I would love to go away and meet new people,  I guess im afraid i wont if I go to Memphis.

UTC would be awesome, cause i like how the campus is in Chattanooga, and has a great surrounding wilderness.



But Memphis has all my friends, most are which still in High School, so i wont really see them unless we plan to hang out.

I dunno, I want to go out and meet new people, have a change of scenery, But i dont at the same time.

Any Kids toy can be made into an adult toy.

To everyone younger than me.

Here's some advice.


Look at college while your not a senior, esp. if you want a scholarship.


And if you actually want/need to do band, look now and audition in the fall.







It makes it so much easier.

So New Years is here.

Kinda mind blowing to sit back and notice how fast the semester have gone by, or at just how long you have lived.

im 18, legal, not a kid, still a teenager, but not really.

If you lived in my life, I (personally) think im treated more like an adult than a kid.

My parents are still parents but financially i seemed more independent. I have a job, pay for gas, clothes, food, most everything except insurances.  Which only sucks cause I seem to piss away my savings right when I get them.  And any problem i get i got to get myself out. I guess this is a part of adulthood?

But I hope to enjoy this last semester.

So i have been looking at colleges, and Im still on the who pays me the most train, (if any pay at all).

Its also really scary to think that I will be going to a school where i dont know anyone. Most of my friends (the few that are actually seniors) all have their own colleges and dreams. And I get to go and meet new ones. Or try to at least.

Its really stressing.


Well not yet at least, My number one priority is to learn that song for clay before Feb 8. That task is killing me.


Well anyone have any resolutions?

My few are

- Stop smoking
- Meet more people
- Grow some balls and ask a girl out (no one in particular, just when i find one, ask her)
- Post more El-Jays


But while thinking of these in my drunken state on Justin's couch, made me really think that even though i try and to put on a "tough guy, most things dont bother me, I roll with what life gives" idea.

Im a scared little kid.  I mean we all are scared, we all have the right to be, but it is very distracting.

All these things pile on you, making you worry.

Sometimes i wish i could believe in a higher being to give me something, strength or faith.



But with all that, i eventually look to the friends i have who make life worth living.

You could say they make  all that better, but ill tell you they dont.

Just makes it bearable.

just blcked out the bushes and hid in there and came out.


sometimes with a chainsaw.


that was the best.


but sometimes just walking up behind them worked the best.

made like 15 kids cry.


2 wet them selves.

one of them was like in 8th grade.

the best was, you and old, the girls because even thought they finally walked past you,

you could walk up to them for about the 5th time and just flinch at them and they would freak out.

 
i will say black people are funny when they are chased by a guy in a mask witha chainsaw.

So im thinking to do pit this indoor season.

or at least try out along with tenors.

i mean this is my last chance to learn something new before college.


well i got my duplicate license.


YEAH!

no Legal curfew or limit on how many people can fit in my car!

i get to go back in 3 weeks for my 18 license!

except for the 257 dollars i spent on sticks for the drumline.


Yeah im sure i broke my bank.

College shit sucks butt.

I get on email to visit the Drumline, and my parents think im getting offered a 4 year scholarship audition.


Im not kidding each used that one sole point while they yelled at me about being hesitant and not being able to miss band practice.

It was pretty much just a chance to see ASU's drumline while they play.



Now i have to set up as many college tours and get as many auditions.

Ahh i would like to just go to Memphis.

Its easier, than all this mumbo jumbo.

Well life is ok.

my grades,as of right now, are ok.

could be better, but are all above a 90.


im sure they can fall easily, so im gonna keep up this semi-hard working mentality.

well anytime is cool really.

im taking this year as it comes.

try not to change much.


i mean half of the people I know will go off to college and i wont see them for a good while.

Well from what ive seen tonight, indoor is a no.

well i decided to go to adv. alg and trig instead of staying in pre-cal.


its not that im lazy and afraid,(well it partly is)

more because her class is based on tests quizzes and hw quizzes


it might be im passing the material but i will fail the hw tests.

thus failing me for the reason that my homework isnt right.


im told adv alg and trig does nothing for you in college but is it  worth demolishing my gpa?
